Hello Natural Mamas!

Long time lurker, first time poster.

Quick stats: Our DD was born at home on our living room floor, we refused the Vit K shot and Silver Nitrate goop in the eyes. We breastfeed, babywear, bedshare and cloth diaper our baby. She began elimination communication at 3 months old (doing very well, too!) and we definitely don't vax. Let's see, what else? We avoid plastic toys, do family baths and hold our baby as much as possible. We use a combination of attachment parenting and common sense. Oh and my placenta is in the freezer. I'm guessing there are a few of you with similar stats here, huh?

Nice to meet you all!

My placenta from baby #4 used to be in the freezer, but I got rid of it before we moved from MD to NY.

Hi there!

I'm new too- and your stats sound oh-so-similar to ours. Our DD was born in a birthing pool in our kitchen, though. Fun to find others, via the web, who are "like" us!

Hello! I will not be able to do a HB this time around, as there is only one mw who comes to this area and she is overbooked right now. For a few minutes I talked to DP about UC... and that didn't go so well! We will be birthing in the local hospital, but have submitted a natural birth plan and my OB accepted it, so hopefully I will still get a water birth with no interventions.

Best of luck! I used Hypnobirthing and found it really helpful.
