Last week, my almost-4-year-old woke at about 4 am with a fever of 103 and a sore throat. He was panicky and scared, so I gave him aconite and then about 30 mins later, belladonna. He calmed down and was laying still and quiet, he said his sore throat was gone. about an hour later, i gave him ferrum phos. He continued with fever from 101-103 all day and was just laying on the couch quietly. I gave him ferrum phos every couple of hours and after each dose, you could tell he felt immediately better, he would get up and walk a bit, ask for some food, etc. in the afternoon I hadn't given it for a while and he said to me, "Maybe I should try some more of those little white things?"
I gave him another dose of ferrum phos and he was up and walking and playing a little about 3 minutes later. One more dose before bed, when he woke up the fever was gone and he was back to normal. I love this!
