Cloth Wipes for Bums & Faces

For those who use cloth wipes do you have separate ones for bums and everything else or do you figure the wash cycle they go through is enough to wipe a snotty nose with it after it's been used to change a diaper?

I've made up a few dozen cloth wipes and put colored stitching on them so I can tell them apart and was thinking of doing another set for faces and hands with a different color stitching...am I going over board?

If it makes you more comfortable, I don't think you're going overboard. We've always had separate sets because of the "Ewww...mommy...don't wipe my nose with THAT one..." factor.

nope, everyone's butt, everyone's face, occasionally a random spill if that's what's closest. I have been known to put a stained one back in the box and pick a non-stained one to blow my nose.

I didn't use them for #2 for a long time, but now I'm hooked! And we use disposable wipes for DS. The wipe solution was in a spray bottle and the spray on his boy bits shocked him so we just got out of the habit and haven't gotten back in. DH is actually better about using the cloth wipes on DS then I am

We used the cloth wipes for face and fanny.

It never even occurred to me until right now to do that! Mine always seem very clean once they've gone through the diaper wash. I don't think I have the organizational skills to develop that kind of a system!

Different ones. DD's wipes are BG flannel wipes + baby washcloths, stored w/her stash. Our face + body cloths are regular washcloths, stored with the towels. No chance of mixup.
