Please let me know if anything is incorrect or needs to changed in the list and here's to a stress-free, very (re)productive month! I can't believe it's September already!

Hello!

Hmmm...I hope I'm doing this right! I've been a reader of the forum for a while now, just waiting to TTC, and now's the time. DH and I are going into our second month of trying, and I'm hoping that it works this month. I'd love to join you ladies, and I'm really excited to be here

I haven't started charting yet, though I will this month. Last month it was nearly impossible because I was out of the country for the early part of my cycle, and I didn't want to obsess (or stress) over only partial information. I just stopped the pill a couple of months ago, and while AF came in a timely manner (cycle was 28 days long) I'm now 14 dpo, all tests have been negative, and now I'm just waiting for AF, and hoping it comes tomorrow. I tend to stress about this stuff, especially since I'm in a PhD program and need to have baby in summer, and so I'm hoping this thread can keep me strong. This cycle I tested like crazy, and it was really unhealthy, not to mention disappointing. So, basically, I'm happy to finally be here!

Weekend Check-In

Name: crunchyruchie

Date:August 31st

Where are you in your cycle: CD29

Symptoms if they apply: sore boobs, but no other aches or pains of which to speak!

When are you thinking of testing:already have, and they were all negative.

Thoughts:This month was a bust, and so now I just want to get AF so that I can have new hope for this month.

Appointments:Just had a preconception appt with doctor. She seemed rushed and kind of vague, and not particularly knowledgeable. She didn't recommend charting, and she told me that she was sure I'd ovulated--which is a worry of mine because of BC pills--because last month I had a 28 DC. I was kind of disappointed by her assumptions. I guess she was probably just trying to be positive, but I felt like she wasn't being thorough or something.

Any new regimes: Well, last month I allowed myself 12 ounces of coffee a day, and this month I'm going to switch over completely to green tea. I've been on rainbow light prenatals for about two months, and I'm continuing with that. I'm also taking probiotics, a DHA, and I'm going to start taking primrose oil up until ovulation. I'm also going to chart. I'm excited about that, as I think there may be less wondering involved, unless, of course, I start reading my charts like tea leaves. And, of course, I'm going to be less lazy and haphazard about diet. I'm definitely going to get in my minimum servings of fruits and veggies. I'm going to start keeping a food journal just to hold myself accountable.

Do you have any stress triggers: reading fertility info on line freaks me out, aside from these threads on mothering, of course, because it seems to normalize infertility, and it leads me to assume the worst of my body.

What is working to help you be stress-free this cycle: Yoga, this thread, and trying to distract myself so that the days don't pass quite so slowly!

Partners feelings if applicable: excited, eager, hopeful as ever.

Plans for this weekend: We're going to dinner at a friend's on Friday, and then I'm celebrating DH's b-day on Saturday evening.

Your O looks pretty clear to me on CD 30. I'd say you're 7 dpo.

Hi!
Can I join in? I'm definitely taking a more low key approach these days!! My stats for the first post - Carrie/29/TTC #2/Cycle 5 and my chart.

Weekend Check-In
Name: Carrie
Date: 9/1/10
Where are you in your cycle: CD11
Symptoms if they apply: Just copious amounts of EWCM, gearing up to O
When are you thinking of testing: 11dpo the EARLIEST. But I'm really going to try to hold off until 15dpo if I get that far. My longest lp is 14 days.
Thoughts: It's going to be hard. I'm a notorious early tester but I need to break the habit for my own sanity. I'm eager to be pg again, but I need to chill about it b/c I really would be happy w/a baby any time next year. It's just so hard to get in that mindset and stay there during the 2ww.
Appointments: Nothing as of now.
Any new regimes, ie herbs, medications, mantras etc: Taking EPO and Maca this cycle, along w/my normal prenatal and B complex.
Do you have any stress triggers: Seeing early bfps. Like 8dpo bfps. It makes me feel like I NEED to test!! So I can't even look at those posts, threads, or bfp pics.
What is working to help you be stress-free this cycle: Not paying attn to my cycle days. Honestly, if I hadn't double checked, I would have forgotten I was on cd11. I just want to make this go as smoothly as possible w/o thinking too much about it.
Partners feelings if applicable: DH is also eager for another, but does not want to *try*. Sometimes my obsessiveness causes a problem w/us. He just wants it to happen, and is obviously disappointed when it doesn't. But he isn't stressed at all and that's how I want to be, too!!

Thanks! Here's to a stress free cycle, ladies!!

Weekend Check-In
Name: Sara
Date: 9/1
Where are you in your cycle: CD 29
Symptoms if they apply: sore bbs, slight lower back ache, just feel like i do before af arrives
When are you thinking of testing: testing Sunday the 5th! I only have 1 test so I figured that would keep me from testing early
Thoughts: I really want a BFP! I know it's only my first month...but I'm trying to think positive.
Appointments: none
Any new regimes, ie herbs, medications, mantras etc: nothing new
Do you have any stress triggers: bills!
What is working to help you be stress-free this cycle: well my cat getting sick n having a giant vet bill isn't helping...so i'll figure out something to be less stressed
Partners feelings if applicable: he's always calm and collected
Plans for this weekend: volleyball fri and sat night with friends

CrimsonTideMom: I definitely agree it looks like you O'd at CD30. Fingers crossed those temps stay high and you get a BFP soon!

AFM: CD14 here, gearing up to O I think. Cervix is too high to feel. Not much CM so far this month, what there is is definitely watery now though. I'm desperatey hoping to O on or before Friday, as DH is supposed to abstain for Sat/Sun/Mon before his SA on Tuesday.

My chart is my homepage, the link is http://www.fertilityfriend.com/home/30954e

I'm on cd11; I had EIGHT DAYS of flow/spotting this cycle. That's just not fair. Anyway, I'm skipping the temping this cycle (I think); I'm not due to O for at least a week so I could change my mind tomorrow morning and start temping... Regardless, I don't remember who said (weeks ago) "less peeing, more penis," but that's my motto this time: 2 days of no-af/spotting, 2 nights of bd'ing. I hope I don't kill dh with my new plan, but I'm pretty sure he'll be happy either way.
