Can I join and jump in with my list? It's ridiculous. I have all this STUFF and still find myself thinking "we have nothing for dinner!"

My inventory -- doesn't include the fridge, and I'm open to buying little odds and ends to complete meals! I just don't want to *really* go grocery shopping until we whittle down the stock on hand a bit, ykwim?

So, 2 nights ago was tacos, last night was hot dogs and baked beans (my kids were thrilled!), and tonight is Daddy cooks night. In my house, that's not so great. So, they are having pancakes, and they'll finish off a jar of praline syrup that I didn't care for (I'm not going to be home).

Tomorrow night, we have a picnic to go to, and the next night, we'll have gumbo (using chicken wings to make broth, then the gumbo will have the chicken, andouille, and okra in it). With rice.

I succeeded! I'm out of ground beef---hooray!! All I have left in my fridge is a bag of limes, some milk, 1 egg, tiny bit of cheese, carrots, and condiments.

We'll eat the cheese and egg this AM, I'll take the limes to my mom, my boys will drink the milk, and I might end up throwing away the (2) carrots. But, all in all, I'm thrilled with my progress.

Yay for moving and a nice clean fridge!
