What to use for one chunky monkey

Our ds is 34 lbs at 15 mo. Most of the fitteds we tried are too small. He wears a 3 or 4 T in width. Any suggestions? We've started using (gasp!) disposables size 6 (the biggest). I think the toddler prefolds would be too small. We are ec-ing, but need something for back up.

I know you seem to use just fitteds and pre-folds, but I would recommend trying some FuzziBunz perfect sized dipes. They are pockets, but they're so easy to use and launder! Size large will fit up to 45+ lbs, and the new FBs have a 4 layer insert which is awesome against leaks. We use the mediums with our 22lb 10 month old and they're great! If you aren't already familiar with them, you can check them out here: http://www.fuzzibunz.com/perfect_size_diaper.php

Hope this helps!
