Bras ~ for a nursing mama

Okay ladies I need a supportive, pretty, comfortable bra.

I have one that does the job...kind of, it isn't pretty and keeps them from touching my belly button, but I want them where they belong, I want it to make me feel feminine, but be comfortable.

Any suggestions? I am not small...D cup, I think...maybe bigger...oh god I hope not bigger!

I have had zero problems with nursing and bras and infection or blockages or any of that so help me find a nice one.

My absolute favorite for comfort is the Bravado Body Silk Seamless. I am bigger than you-- E cup-- and the XL fits me perfectly. It's seriously the most comfortable bra I've ever worn. My breasts are always very sensitive and sore, and it doesn't hurt to wear this bra. It has no underwire to dig in, which is a very definite added bonus.

HotMilk brand is well touted for being pretty, but I can't attest to the comfort since I've never worn one.

I also have a Bravado ~D cups here, size L I think~ and I love it!!! I wouldn't call it pretty though. I'm extremely picky with bras and I absolutely cannot have seams or underwires, nursing or not, so the Bravado fits my bill. I have to add that several of my other nursing bras do not provide support, but the Bravado does.

I'm 34 E give or take now that I'm nursing and I need support. I love Anita underwire bras - they are pricey but super supportive and comfortable for breastfeeding. I have bravado bras as well, but apart from the silk seamless (which isn't super supportive for me) the DD size is too small (I have the bliss bra which is supportive but too tight, and some other lacy kind). I never had any problems breastfeeding with Anita even early on.

http://www.victoriassecret.com/ss/Sa...ame=vsdWrapper Victoria's Secret has nursing bras now, they're not lacey or anything, but they're good quality and good material.

http://www.llliclothes.com/Nursing-Bras.html La Leche League has a line of nursing bras that are a bit prettier.

Also, you can get a regular soft-cup bra and just pull it over your breast to feed. You can also buy almost any regular bra, cut the straps, and put a hook and closure, or a snap on it and make it into a nursing bra (I did that with some cheap sam's club camis) If you don't sew, find a friend who does!

There's two from Motherhood that are pretty, and not too expensive either!
