I'm having a tough time dealing with this. Most information out there seems to have to do with tandem nursing a child who can afford to go without breast milk for nutrition; or dry nurse during pregnancy, and is old enough to understand nursing boundries etc.
I'm wondering how mom's with really young older children have handled it. I supplement heavily from my frozen stash, and formula. DH is gently pushing for me to wean, so our nursing sessions have dwindled from 6-7 times a day to just 1 or 2 now. Will we make it another 5 months? And if we do, what will nursing 2 under 18 months look like?

) after the baby was born. It seemed very normal and natural for my kids to start eating (they did not eat much if any solid food prior to my getting pregnant) table food as my milk supply decreased. Food is such a small part of nursing, really. I have not set any limits on my toddler. She doesn't understand and I have learned that it is way more trouble and frustration than it's worth for both of us. Sometimes at night when she's nursing for who knows what time and has been nursing forever and I need to pee and I want to roll over and my 3yo is reaching around behind me to touch the other side I just want to scream but it's all worth it.
