Finally!!!!

Saoirse Lily arrived this morning at 9.10 am, after a whopping 45 minutes of labour!! I had half way been planning a UC, depending on circumstances, but that ended up out of my control!! The only people at home were my mom and DD. Poor mom ended up catching baby to stop her falling into the toilet!! Born at 43+6 weeks, she weighed 9lb 8oz after having done a huge poo on the way out. She was fine, but we ended up transferring into hospital for some observations, JIC.

So glad to finally be holding my little baby - though I didn't quite make the August DDC, despite my EDD being August 5th!!

wow! congrats! what a labor and what an amazing name!!

43 + 6!?!? you make me feel so much better-
i will be 42 tomorrow.

when you have time to write, i'd love to know if you did any natural inducement things or if you just waited...

congrats again- so happy for you!!!

Amazing! Congratulations! I'm so happy for you! I can't imagine having to wait as long as you did. I'm glad you were able to have your baby at home like you wanted, though.

You deserve some kind of an award. That's amazing! We shared a due date and I think I would have gone clinically insane by now if I had to wait as long as you did. Way to go mama!

Yep, I had the same due date too!
