Just got done with this...

What do you think? It is my ode to all of you who helped me convince my dh to leave our son whole.

Thanks again!

That animation is a great tribute!

I made a similar "movie" at the same website about a month ago. The theme was stubbornness about circumcision and my inspiration was that delightful xtranormal-type video about an iPhone purchaser. After I had laughed myself silly, I realized it was a great medium for intactivist messages.

Congrats on your production!

I haven't looked at the iPhone video yet, I'll have to check it out. I'm going to go do a search for your video right now!

And thanks!

I mention the iPhone video because anyone familiar with intactivism can instantly see the similarities in talking to someone who doesn't yet "get it". (Just a disclaimer, the original uses creative swearing and is NSFW; there is a clean version of the original.)

Those of us involved with education on the circumcision issue are always on the lookout for new media that get our point across in a thoughtful, direct and sometimes humorous way. As long as it's more realistic than sarcastic, animation can be a great way to connect with people on the fence and let them see themselves and their contradictions in a non-confrontational way.

That is very cool!
I'm a bit out of the 'loop' and saw the similar theme for the c-section video going around (at least around my facebook). I didn't realize that the animation was based on the EVO commercial later referenced (at least I hope I am getting it right).

Great way to get the word out, but I think that there will be a lot of copycats till the next 'new/viral' thing comes along(-;
