21 month old with cold/cough without fever?!

Hi
My DS has a cold? since saturday- runny nose, sneezing and now more congested with thicker greener mucus and a cough that started on monday night.
He has not had a fever though...Does this make sense???!!!
I though young kids get fevers when they have a cold-I know the 2 other times he had an upper respiratory bug with coughs he had a fever-101-103

Don't know what to think..... Could this be the beginning of WC??!!

In our family (3 kids, 2 adults), a cold never has a fever with it. It's just as you described. Not sure if that helps or not.

I think that a cold can either have a fever, or not. IME, usually not.
