Need fabric sling recommendations

Haven't had a baby around in about 6 years and am not even sure what brands of slings are out there....I don't have the energy to search the internet right now.

I have a moby wrap and ergo that I got at yard sales, and I used to make ring slings, so will make one for the baby myself. I'm interested in slings like hotslings or similar....fabric that is adjustable for sizing as the baby grows.

So give me your favorite brands of cloth slings....

We have a Kangaroo Korner cotton pouch, with snaps to make it adjustable. My husband has been using it to wear Chunkey Monkey around since he was 3 days old, we like it because of its "poppability" and the fact that we can adjust the fit (we're not the same size around )

For ring slings, I love Sleeping Baby Productions (SBP) and Comfy Joey (CJ) most, though I also like Kalea, Taylor Made, Psling, and Sakura Bloom. SBP would overall be the most affordable, but CJ has some great sales, and all the brands are available on FSOT boards here and there for amazing bargains, often barely used.

My two favorite fabrics for slings are woven wraps that have been chopped down or a sturdy, single-layer linen (often, the linen used in double-layer linen slings is thinner). I find single layers to be cooler and just as supportive, and in Houston with a toddler, that's key.

I know there are a few other brands out there that have gotten rave reviews but that I personally haven't tried. Zolowear is one, Maya lightly padded, too. Have heard a little about Rockin Baby and Sweet Pea, too. GL!
