Welcome to September ladies! Time to get warm, cuddle and conceive!

Taxlady, I hope you don't mind, but since there wasn't a new thread up yet, I went ahead and started things. I wasn't sure if you still remembered that you had volunteered or that you still wanted to. You can do next month if you're still interested.

Meander, I just wanted to give you a big hug. Pets are so wonderful, and its so amazing how strong the bond and love become over the years. Losing one is so hard. I'm sorry you have to go through this.

Fertilemyrtle - Time to get busy! GO GO EGGIE!

AFM - My temperature dropped like a stone yesterday at 9dpo. Also there was some pink when I checked my cervix. I spent the the whole day in such a funk. I pretty much knew I was done this cycle but I was holding out some tiny hope that it was just an implantation dip. Its very slightly up today but I think that's just because we had the window shut and I was sweating under winter blankets when I woke up. I'm not really sure what this means.

I've been editing our lists and we have had some due dates go by. Congratulations to Suka, CareCare and Sju88b. Houla055 is due any day now. I hope you stop by and tell us your birth stories ladies!

Morning!

Thought I'd start the thread on a hopeful note.... O'd on cycle day 14 (Aug 20)
Had my highest ever BBT (97.8) at 11dpo, which also was our 2 year anniversary, so I p'doas and got a very faint +.

Cautiously optimistic and in stunned disbelief that this all occurred our first month TTC.

Temp dipped to 97.2 yesterday but a slightly darker line on the dollar store test.

97.9 this morning and a dark line quickly appeared on the FRER test.

I've booked into care with the midwives because around here if you wait you miss out.

AF would have been due tomorrow (Tue at the latest) but I don't feel at all like I usually do in the days before AF so I'm waiting on pins and needles to get through the weekend... perhaps then it will feel more real?

Anyhow, thought I'd share the news and give a little
post #5 of 146
Nutter: Congrats again! Glad your line got darker - that always helps allay some of the fears, I think

Teetina: Sorry about the temp drop

AFM: Just hanging out, waiting to O. My chart is here: http://www.fertilityfriend.com/home/30954e could it be added to beside my name at the beginning of the thread? Thanks!
Thanks for the new thread, Teetina!

Nutter, congrats on the BFP

AFM, 12 DPO. I got a BFN yesterday, and I desperately POAS'd again this morning. There was the faintest something I've ever seen on this morning's test, but I'm pretty sure it's not really there. I'm having a vision problem, and unfortunately reds/pinks are a problem for me to see. Sooooo, I'm on the verge of hyperventilating, even though I know the darn line isn't really there. I really hate getting my hopes up, knowing they'll be cruelly dashed to the ground and stomped on tomorrow morning when I test again.
Thanks LivingSky & Kinza.

Kinza - it must be so frustrating to not know if the faintest line ever is a line or your vision trouble. I hope tomorrow brings good things for you.

Teetina - holding out hope that tomorrow's temp will be just what you're looking for!

Sending loads of conceptions vibers y'alls way!

Congrats Nutter!

Kinza- I've got everything crossed for you! I hope, I hope, I hope!!!

Congrats Nutter!

Kinza - can you try a digital test next time?

Hope everyone else is doing well.
Happy September! I don't think I'm going to have much trouble staying warm though, it's still in the 90s down here (Gulf Coast).

Wasn't my month. Or months. I finally ovulated on day 45 of a 55 day cycle, and we babydanced at all the right times but no luck. CD 7 now and hoping this cycle is shorter. I've done soy isoflavones the last three cycles but it didn't seem to move up O at all so I'm dropping that and doing vitex, b6 and chiral balance this time, plus evening primrose oil until after O. The chiral balance is helping my skin a lot, so I'm hoping that means it's doing good things for my hormones and that I might start to ovulate a little more often.
Nutter - congrats again!!

Kinza - I'm hoping that line that you think isn't there really is there! I agree with what someone else recommended - how about a digital test? No guesswork there.

WTH - Hopefully this cycle will be shorter for you. Sounds like you have all your ducks in a row with all the supplements! Maybe this month you'll have the right combo to work for you.

AFM - Just waiting to O. I'm on CD9 with no signs of O to be seen. Don't ususally O before CD16, though, so I've go a ways to go.
I'm here.. I'm here! Just a space cadet on the fact that it is ALREADY SEPTEMBER!! I just go by CD's these days.. lol!

I'll host the thread if you want me to take over..Teetina.. I'm so sorry - I remember saying I would now that you mention it. I would be happy to.

NUTTER! Are you are first BFP of September? OR did you swoop into the BFP's of August? In any case - MANY CONGRATULATIONS!!

WTHamI - I think healthy skin is a definite sign of healthy insides..

As for me.. CD 12.. should O this weekend.. but I don't know. I had a significant temp drop on CD 9 followed by 3 days of increasing temps. This is my second month of charting.. so we shall see. OPK's are getting darker. I wish it would just happen already.
Taxlady: I got my first very faint positive on August 31.....so I guess technically I'm part of the August group.... Either way I'm trying not to stress and trusting that the little bean will stick if its supposed to!
Just to update, I got a definite BFN this morning at 13 DPO. Thanks for the good thoughts, guys.
Lurking everyone. Hanging out, waiting to O. CD14.

Congrats Nutter!

Teetina, looks like we are cycle buddies right now. You are 10dpo today and I'm 9dpo. No big drop in the temp yet thought. I'm crossing my fingers for you (and me and all of us)!

Last cycle AF came on 8dpo so I'm a day past it. I keep waiting to see if this luteal phase will be too short again. At least I know it's growing.

I promised to wait until Saturday but My husband said it was ok, so I tried a test last night and I got a BFN but I knew it was too early. I keep expecting AF, but I have no pms symptoms except sore nipples and being a little cranky - that could be work related.

OK 30 Something Ladies.. our thread has a gray envelope. What's up with that?? let's turn this into a "hot thread party". Besides.. it's hot out there.. everywhere! I know the heat makes me lethargic but we've got to get this thread moving!

So, now that summer is winding down and we can no longer wear white

WHAT'S THE FUNNEST THING YOU DID THIS SUMMER?

The funnest thing I did this summer was on the day of a for sure bfn - I got on a double-decker bus with 50 of our closest friends and tasted margaritas at 6 of LA's best Mexican restaurants.
OOh.The funnest thing we did this summer? We spent some days in NY and had a total blast. I got a really great deal on a swanky hotel and we lived it up. We also went to the Rock of Ages show, which was the most fun I've ever had watching live theater.
Funnest thing I did this summer? Besides TTC? LOL

I bought DH tickets to Cirque du Soleil for Christmas, and the date finally rolled around at the end of July. We drove 3 hours to where it was, spent the night there and had an absolute blast! I'd never been to a circus of any kind before and had no idea what to expect. It was great! I can't wait to go to another one. Oh, and DH had a good time too

Here's hoping for LOTS of BFPs this month for everyone!

Okay Livingsky, your chart is up next to your name. If anyone else wants one added, don't be shy, give us your links.

Taxlady, I feel like I stole your thunder hosting this thread again. I just wasn't sure if you were gonna show up or not and I didn't want us to be threadless. I have no idea how to pass the thread on to you or let you edit the list without starting the whole thing over again. You want to do October if you're not pregnant? I'll try to give you more warning this time lol.

As for summertime fun... I've been pretty mellow. I had planned for a quiet summer since I expected to be hugely pregnant, tired and busy preparing. After the m/c, I kept it mellow as I've been kinda bummed. However my best friend from childhood and his wife are visiting us this week and I'm really enjoying hanging out with them. We can be apart for ages and the minute we're together again its just like old times.

Bolobear, I think you're on your own, I hope you fare better than I did. My temperature dropped at 9dpo. Now I just wait 4 days for AF to show up. I have no idea wth my body is doing and I'm so frustrated.

Kinza, I'm sorry for your fakeout test. How long is your LP usually? Was your urine more dilute the next day? Is there still hope?
