Hey, I know I could probably do a few searches and find some answers, but I tried and there is such a variation w/ how folks are PP I figured I'd just come out and ask!

I'm just curious if folks found it was difficult to TTC while nursing (a lot!) DS is almost 15mos, and while he doesn't nurse much while I'm at work (I'm down to pumping only 1x a day, 3-4oz) he does make up for lost time at home. At night he varies between waking up 1x at 4:30am (ahhh, those are nice nights!) and bad nights like last night where he wakes up at 1am, 2:30am, 4:30am, 5:30am and then is finally up at 6:30am. We co-sleep. I do work FT, so that's 8 hours 5 days a week w/out him, and just one pumping, but my periods are still far from 'normal' (pre-pregnancy, I was pretty clockwork, ovulation day 14, 28 day cycles)

I've kept track of my periods postpartum, my first showed up at 6months, then I got one at 9months, then 11, then 12, then 14. So only one 30-day one in there, I think because that month he was sleeping best (before his upper molars started to come in!)

anyway, I'm temping, but I feel like its a lost cause w/ him being up so much at night (where is my three hours in a row?! ) I started just this week, kind of mid-cycle, and they are super high, (98.2, 98) so I can't tell if I'm already post-o or not (based on temps I'd say so, and CM-wise I guess it might be true too, but hard to tell) I guess Ill find out next month maybe what is really going on, I wish I had started right at my last period but we only just decided to try for a second

anyway. I'd try and relax and just 'see what happens' but I also am not getting any younger and would rather at least know if I'm ovulating or not. If I'm getting a period, and fertile CM, is it likely that I am, even if I am super irregular? is there anything i can do (not weaning, however) that might make them more regular? and how to people temp when they co-sleep? and are folks' temps higher post-pregnancy in general? (due to hormones, maybe? ) I'd try OPK's but I never had much luck with those. I used to get a really distinctive ovulation pain, but I admit I have noticed it these last few cycles, which makes me worry that I am getting a period but not ovulating (how likely is that?)

sorry for so many questions
