Fingernails growing more on one hand

This is more an observation rather than a question, but I'm curious to see if anyone else noticed it:

the fingernails in my felt hands are growing faster than the right one... I ovulate on the left side and I am guessing that's where the baby implanted..

I like my nails short, so it's the second time I'm cutting them and noticed that.. of course the explanation would be "more blood flow on the left side?"

Are you right handed?? Because it's totally normal to have shorter nails on the side you use more.

I have no idea, but the eyelashes on my right grow longer than on my left. It's weird and it hasn't always been that way, maybe just for 5 years.

I haven't noticed anything like this, but think the topic is fascinating!

Demeter, I misread your answer. Yes, I'm right-handed, but my fingernails have always grown at the same speed. I guess it helps that we use computers with both hands

Anyway,I do notice that because I have always had fragile fingernails and they are in so much better health after taking multivitamins and of course, of just the fact of being preggo. Now they're growing faster and more than the other right-hand.

I also read on the web that usually the hand that gets used more gets more blood flow, -- but in my case it's the baby-- I had my doubts with noticing my left breast becoming slighlty larger than ususally-- amazing the things we notice when we pay attention

It's not my fingernails, but I've noticed that the hair on my right leg is growing much faster than the hair on my left during this pregnancy! I didn't notice it with my previous two kids... so odd!
