I was looking through the reviews and didn't see one...has anyone tried Smartipants? Just wondering if they are any good?

I LOVE LOVE LOVE LOVE LOVE mine!!! I just wish that I could order a few with applix for sitters and DH!! I love that I don't have to remove the insert, even though it isn't that bad to remove the insert out of my others, I love that I don't have to with those. I was thinking that I might make some similar to them with applix since I know that I am going to have the hardest time getting DH and the sitters to remove the inserts in my other pockets which means that I will have to dig out cold wet inserts... YAY....

Right now DD is 10 lbs and they do fit her, I've had her in them for almost 2 weeks now, I wash them every day and a half since I don't have enough. She has tiny legs and I have found that I have had to pull the wings up in order to get a tight fit.

Thanks so much funkymom81! I am super interested in these diapers mainly for the price point. I wanted to get some pockets for nigh time convenience. I am currently using the Flip diapering system for day time and i love it but, at night you have to fold and place the insert and i don't want to have to monkey with it. I am seriously thinking about ordering a 3 pack of these. would you consider them a trim diaper or are they pretty bulky?

I find these to be pretty trim for a one sized diaper. I do not find them good for double stuffing though, so we can't use them at night since DD is a heavy wetter and we don't change her during the night. They aren't my favorite, even though I wanted to love them! I prefer fleece to microsuede and I wish they had a hip snap for babies with skinny legs so you don't have to make the belly so tight. That being said I think they are great quality, especially for the price. The inserts really do agitate out and they wash up very well. They don't stain as easily as some of our others.

I use sized fuzzi bunz so that is my point of reference. Most of my diapers and used/old but in good condition and I've upgraded all of the inserts to new four ply FB inserts. Someone got some for free because I am the only cloth diapering mama she knows. I like the cover pretty well. They are only one size diaper and they have worked at various weights and heights. But I think their insert is not very good. Dh and our nanny only use them if pressed; they just get much weter faster than our FB.

And I could care less about insert coming out in the wash. I have no idea if it does because my habit is to remove. They are pretty trim. But I would totally by used FB with a good insert insead of new SP.

Smartipants is our #1 diaper I swore off all pockets till them. They fit my LO super well the price is great and I LOVE the fact I don't have to remove the insert. I don't mind removing inserts but DH did and I got soooooo sick of washing diapers only to find inserts bunched up in the toe of the diaper. I also love that they are USA made a huge plus for us.

For ones wanting to see the fit. Here is my LO in one she is 5.5 months just shy of 15lbs she wears these on the medium setting. She still fits the lowest but she has a longer rise like her big sister so I prefer this rise a bit more. I tend to change every 1.5-2 hours but shes can easily go 3-4 hours with no issues. so I dont worry if she naps ect in these. We do use something diffrent for night though because she is a tummy sleeper (as you can see) and she'll leak the front of these if on overnight.

SmartiPants are one of our least favorite diapers. Our daughter was 6lbs, 4oz at birth and they didn't fit her for almost four months. We also have to add additional inserts so they fit properly.

They are deffiently too big for wee ones. Mine was 5.7 at birth and HA no way these fit. I tried again around June and they were doable but not ideal.. Around 4 months they finially starting fitting well and now at almost 6 months they are perfect for us. I have yet to find any one size diaper that fits well as a tiny NB then equally so as an infant/ toddler.
