What diapers do you consider trim?

I was just looking for a few more diapers...I was thinking pocket or AIO for night time convenience. What would you suggest if I want something that isn't super bulky and won't leak? I am currently using Flip diapering system. I love how trim it is but, would really like something simple for night time changes. I have a 6mo old who still wakes in the night. Thanks for the help!

We like the FuzziBunz OS pockets. The new style has a 4 layer insert which is super absorbent and we haven't yet needed to use a doubler with them for overnights. Our DD is almost 11 mos old and still wakes about twice at night to nurse, and I just grab a fresh dipe, snap it up and we're done! It takes such a short time (and is a lot quieter than velcro) that DD has fallen back asleep while I was changing her! And they are pretty trim. Her pants fit over them with no problems and if she's wearing a dress there isn't a huge bubble-butt hanging out under them - just a cute, colorful tushy!

Thanks so Much MayasMama88! I do own 1 FB OS! I have been hesitent to try it as an overnight diaper b/c i wasn't sure if one insert would be enough. I do love it as a day time diaper though.I got it as a freebie with an order I placed. That is why it is the only other diaper i have besides my Flips. I will have to give it a try!!

We have several different kinds of diapers in our stash.

Our trimmest include the GroVia AIO. They work great for our heavy wetter at night with the snap in booster it comes with. I usually lay an additional grobaby booster in but we don't change any diapers at night...up to 12 hours and she nurses several times at night. In general I find GroVia to be narrow in the crotch and trim fitting. I just started trying the AI2s at night with the soaker and a booster without leaks.

I also think the BumGenius elemental -as it is now called- is very trim, especially for a OS. I haven't actually tried it at night, but for an average wetter or if you are changing at night it would work well.

Right now I find the small perfect fit FB very trim since DD is on the heavy size of the range. The mediums are bulkier since she is at the lower end of the range. A sized pocket like FB can be very trim if you get the right fit. At night they can be double or triple stuffed if needed. We use a knickernappies super-do with the micro insert it came with at night. Makes it bulky, but for nighttime it doesn't matter to us. Hemp inserts (like Joeybunz) are a trimmer way to get extra absorbency in a pocket at night.

We also use FB OS and I don't consider them bulky after the newborn phase. Once DD hit about 12 pounds I fell in love with them. They are more narrow between the legs than our other pockets. However, the narrowness does not lend well to double stuffing in my opinion.

My baby is narrow in the hips and not a big chubby baby so trimness has not been an issue for us. In fact, the extra fluff from the diaper helps her fit into the bigger sizes needed for her tall height! We've never had an issue with not being able to wear anything due to her diaper. But I also haven't put her in jeans yet since they don't seem very comfy for a little baby to me.

A vote for Fuzzi Bunz here! DS is super narrow and they just seem to work the best. For night time, we put an actual pre-fold in instead of the liners. I have tried hemp liners, bamboo liners, the list goes on. Found that organic cotton pre-folds were the best. Actually, we have completely rid of the inserts (recycled for wipes) because the inserts just wasn't enough, even doubled up.

We have tried them all (it seems) and FB's worked the best for us. I would prefer not to use a fleece material but wasn't able to find other diapers that worked for our little man.

Good luck!
