Rec. for Cookbook for making baby food

My girls are almost seven months and we have recently started offering them solids once a day and so far they are loving it. I would like to buy a cookbook for more ideas but there are so many out there I would love some suggestions. I'm looking for a book that informs you of age appropriate foods and avoids foods that are commonly problematic for babies such as dairy. TIA!

You don't need a cookbook. Just cook away You can steam, mash just about anything for them. That's all we've done. We had a cookbook but really it was about adding different spices etc to increase flavor. Which is great, but 20 bucks for a book I could have just threw in spices on my own.
Look on the AAP.com site for foods to avoid by certain ages. Like no nuts until 2, no eggs until 1 etc. We pretty much just did baby led solids and gave them whatever, provided it wasn't a major allergy in the family.

i also just pretty much steamed + mashed, or used the food mill. have you seen wholesomebabyfood.com ? great resource!!

I really like Ruth Yaron's Super Baby Food book...way more than just steaming and mashing, there are recipies for the whole family.

Another vote for Super Baby Food. I confess, I ignored her evangelical fervor about Super Baby Porridge and never made it. But the book is full of excellent recipes. The "what foods they can eat when" charts were extremely helpful.
