Welcome to the SEPTEMBER Thread Mamas!!
Looking forward to adding some of our BSLs to the list over here this month!

This is a spinoff of the Bitter Sushi Ladies Thread over on the TTC board. Some of us have very happily made it to the "other side" and we want to be able to keep track of each other.

Our fellow BSL's that are still on their TTC journey like to check up on us from time to time too - which we really appreciate - since they continue to be in the midst of a sometimes brutal and just "NOT FAIR" TTC journey...

Its my birthday and Ill cry if I want to...

Damn hormones.
Okay so I know Im only going on 39 weeks BUT

I have had prodromal labor since the beginning of August and this past week has been painful enough to be real labor every. single. night.

And I am getting so tired of this.
MaerynPearl... I came over here specifically to see what was going on with you... I hope things get started for you soon and I'm definitely thinking of you

was it really your birthday yesterday?
yup!

Im 28 now.

Ended up actually having a REALLY good day... went to the aquarium, ben & jerrys, then my friend took the kids and DH and I wandered the mall for a while and went out for supper at olive garden.

But in the morning it sucked. I had been asking DH for a few days what we were doing for my birthday and he said if he told me it wouldnt be a surprise...

then the morning of my birthday I asked what we were doing and he goes... i dunno what you want to do?

yeah, I cried.
Ugh! He totally had your hopes up of a surprise! Bummer!! I'm sure he didn't mean to make you feel bad....but men sure can be dense sometimes!!

I am glad your day turned out to be good. Here's to hoping baby comes SOON!!
yeah... being so late in the pregnancy my hormones are all over. Hes usually a sweetheart and rarely upsets me but pretty much ANYTHING upsets me lately.

Luckily I know the majority of my problem is my hormones so I am not too horribly upset with him over any of it.
oh MP my man can also be a little dense sometimes... great in many other ways but would easily pull the same thing.... sort of wanting to plan something special and then just not really getting it together to do that...

I just turned 28 in May and I think this might be my favorite age so far! something about being a bit older and still young at the same time is great!

I hope that baby girl shows up soon! I CAN'T friggin' waaaaiiiit...

Checking in on you, Mae!
Well, today was my EDD for the baby I lost in March at 12.5 weeks. Blah. Thought I would probably have my baby in arms but never thought I'd be morning sick today and waiting for a viability u/s tomorrow. Go figure.

Mae - hopefully she shows up soon - though you are still early, aren't you? Did you deliver early with your other 2?
Tomorrow 39w... which is how far I was with DD1. (DS was induced so he doesn't really count lol no clue WHEN he would have come!)

Had a midwife appointment today.

They reminded me that there is NO WAY I will still be pregnant in 3 weeks and 2 days.

My blood pressure which had been slightly elevated (nowhere near pre-e levels but enough for us to keep an eye on and want to get down) is back down... not to my normal levels but further down than it was last appointment!

Mae is LOA (she has been ROA and just the other day I thought she turned LOA and I seem to have been right!) and definitely dropped... I measured the same today as I did 2 weeks ago! Not engaged yet, but getting there... and likely wont engage until active labor starts.

Starting to think... since I didn't get an anniversary or birthday baby... 9/11 wouldn't be a horrible birthday... that's my moms remission birthday from breast cancer and of course Patriot Day, which although a somber day, has a lot of meaning for both sides of Maes family as both my family and DHs are military.

Plus that gives me 5 more days before I start having to be sad about another day that would have made an awesome birthday going by without a baby!

Hit me up in October

Mae!! I'm wondering if we have a new baby?! Just in case, ELV for ya.

AFM - Tomorrow is the "big" u/s for us. I'm excited. Not so nervous although I know there's plenty to be worried about I'm just happy to feel movement every day now. We can deal with anything else thrown our way. Hoping to find out the sex if the baby shows the goods!

We're having another Boy! Everything is perfect and looks healthy. It's so nice to be normal. He's already measuring a week and a half ahead lol, good thing I know exacts. I told the Dr there that there was no question with the EDD, I just grow big babies.
I'll post some pictures for you later, we didn't get a good face shot but we got a really good leg profile lol.

finnegansmom - thanks for the new thread!!!

Mae - thinking about you (and always looking for a "this is it!" text... lol!).

Jessica - yay boy!!! SO happy for you that everything looks healthy and normal!

kalamos23 - , mama.

lapis - I LOVED 28. 29 is not turning out too bad for me, either.

AFM - Holy sh*t. Less than a week from full term. 26 days till my due date. Eeeep! I am totally ready in all aspects of life, except for work... so many things to finish up! But at the same time... as I get further along and more uncomfortable, I am caring less (not a good thing, but at least I'm not stressing QUITE as much!).

Seems as the the SPD symptoms have come back in full force, which stinks. I am now sleeping in a recliner, because sleeping in bed (and having to change positions/turn from side to side) hurts way too much, as does getting in and out to pee. SO much more comfy sleeping in and getting in/out of the recliner. Plus, I'm spending extra time in the baby's room, which is making me feel even more grounded and connected to her. And, I like listening to my Hypnobabies in her room.

I have my 36 week appointment/check today. Part of me wants to decline the check, but the (louder, more insistent!) type-A part of me NEEDS to know if there's any thing going on in/down there. Lol. I'll let you ladies know! Cadence has still been moving and flipping like crazy, so I'll be sure to take anything she says about position with a grain of salt. Also, GBS swab today... !

Holy crap, I'm going to have a baby anywhere from less than a week to 6 weeks from now!
