Wow she's really expressive!! Is that a Moby I see on your DH!?

Hope the engorgement lets up and so does that cold, bleh!

cold is letting up and YES! DH has basically stolen my Moby from me!

He has expressed jealousy over me breastfeeding (cuz he doesnt get to feed, I told him to make up for it I will let him feed the first solid food when we get to that point) and then started to get a bit jealous over my babywearing lol... so now he babywears too! He has a snuggli carrier but we havent tried that out yet, we both love the newborn hold for the Moby.

MIL and FIL just left... after deep cleaning my ENTIRE house. OMG am I happy! I was getting scared as I was starting to feel better and feeling better = having to do all that work that was backing up since we moved here and DH was too busy with work and I was too sore to do.

Now I just have to clean my bedroom and bathroom and keep the rest of the house in the condition its in now. Totally easy!

But will miss having MIL and FIL around... they live up in MI and drove down with my kids after the kids missed their flight home on Monday because of Maes birth.

Anyway, DH and Mae are on the couch without me. I have to go snuggle them.

Glad you're feeling better, Mae! Sounds like you're really enjoying your time with little Mae. DH is so cute in the Moby.

Nanette - thanks! We worked really hard on it, and I'm so happy with the way it turned out! I want it to be my room. Lol. So super glad to hear the babes are doing well; too funny about them kicking each other! Hehehehe... in utero babies are the funniest thing, I've decided.

AFM - well, here we are at my due date! Glad to have made it to the day we have been looking forward to for so long, but also feeling calm, peaceful, and patient. She'll come when she's ready.

Mae-- omg congratulations!!! What a blessing!! I was so excited to hear about how fast your labor went!!! Enjoy the time with DH. I love the military paternity leave.

Lyndzies-- Anyday now!!! I will have to be better at checking in! DD is almost 8 months old now so I am much more busy. haha

They make her look so chubby and so much older... neither of which are true lol

She is 1 week old today... and a skinny little thing (though gaining weight quickly!)

Cute pics MP. She does look older than 1 week. My son was born at 41 weeks too and he always looked older...

Does anyone want to start the october thread? clearly I suck at threadkeeping since it's the 4th and I haven't started a new one...

Super adorable, MP!!! She looks wise.

Lyndzies, that room needs to be in a magazine, seriously...still thinking about making mobiles? Can't wait to see CJ in her habitat!

hmm... i dont remember a pout (but then, Im sleep deprived and dont remember much)

She has smiled, just like in the ultrasound. And yawned a lot, like in the ultrasound lol

oh... and her arms are usually up by her head, like in the ultrasound LOL

and she sticks her tongue out a lot, like in the ultrasound. Turns out that ultrasound was a pretty good view as to who she is now!

including just how hard it is to wake that girl up when she is determined to sleep! I have been at the verge of calling midwife and/or heading to the ER once or twice because I have done EVERYTHING I know of to wake her up and NOTHING.... only to have her wake up a few moments later and be totally alert.

She gets that from her dad.
