Circle time?

Hey all,

this is going to sound like a silly question, but what exactly is circle time? where do you do it and what do you do? Just wondering :-)

circle time is where everyone join in a circle says an opening phrase. sings some songs, do some finger plays, reads a story, says a closing phrase.

thats a basic jist of it (some times no opening/closing sometimes no story)

it's a time where all the kids gather and do a few songs and fingerplays as a group. not normally done as formally as that if at all with HSing. there are different opinions on how important it is.
