Hi everyone. I never really sign up for anything like this(no myface thankyou) But ive been refering back to this website daily for the last few days and have had many of my questions answerd here, as well as getting to hear many different points of veiws and concerns all with an intelligent non judgmental approach.
About me;
23 chillin with my baby daddy, expecting my first is jan(21st week)! if its a boy (ha it just kicked sssoooo hard the comp moved on my belly) we will name him Zenn Medow, and if its a girl we will name her Love Leigh. Im aiming to do a home water birth with the care and love of a few choice people. Im dealing with all the woes and pros of becoming a mother including dealing with HSV type 1 (contracted from very mean x-boy
) and the nagging worries about delivering vaginally in water (thanks for your past threads on that. Very helpful with all the links) I have what i believe to be very typical worries and concerns that keep me scouring the internet for hours. Up side; i feel very knowledgable and concious. Down side; its driving me slightly neurotic. Very interested in neo/perinatal/child psychology. Realizing my own birth trauma and making baby steps on coming to terms with it and how it will effect my childs birthing experience. ~trying to be as healthy as my craving self will let me(doin pretty good)
Baby is kicking and we saw it move under my skin the other night (boy is that weird or what?) im glad im starting to look preggo instead of just "fat" and im showin it off proud (naked hot spring here I come!) but I am also starting to feel "stuffed" and heavy.
<--- that reminded me, im cold ALL THE TIME... Finding out the joys of little one sitting on my bladder making me think niagra freakin falls is about to come out of me only to have the tiniest tinkle after you have stampeded to the bathroom(for the 3rd time that hour). Im pretty sure im goin with the no vax policy (still researching it careful though) and havin fun learnin new ways to wear my baby. Oh yeah one of the coolest things so far; I CAN MILK MYSELF!! LOL the day i discovered it i was like"HONEY!!! COME QUICK!!!! LOOK WHAT I CAN DO!!!" lol. its fun but i dont wanna do it too often and start pouring before i really need to. WHEW!!!

questions; there are soo many abbr. on here can someone please post a list of some of them and there meanings?? much obliged!

Good to have new people joining! It is an affirmation that a difference is being made and that attachment parenting is again becoming the 'norm'. There is a sticky that explains most, if not all, of the abbreviations. It is here
