By about week twenty four your baby's ears are well developed. By 27-30 weeks your baby's ears are mature enought to respond to the sounds that filter through to him/her. In his/her fluid filled home, a baby's ear can't do their normal job of amplifying sounds, so even if sounds are quite loud to your, they won't be for your baby.
I used to work in the oil field and did so until 30 weeks. (It was suggested that I leave my work enviroment after 27 weeks, when the baby's ears were developed.) The noise out in the field is incredibly loud, what with all of the generators, the pipe, the drill and all of the equipment that we would use. Everything I have read/researched seems to show that as long as you can avoid prolonged exposure (8 or more hours of continuous exposure to noises louder than 85-90 decibles) than you and your baby should be fine.
And your baby still has about 10 weeks before his/her ears are developed enough to "hear" so... I hope you had a great time! No worries!
Rock on.
