Do NOT cut up hot peppers before you check your CM, even if you wash your hands TWICE with TWO DIFFERENT soaps.

UGH and OUCH

Hahaha, thanks lovinlife, it's my own damn fault. I should've known better.

My exact reaction, heard by my DP from the bathroom: "HOLY EFFING HELL WHY AM I ON FIRE?" In retrospect, it's pretty clear why I was on fire.

OMG HopefullyMama...I can so see myself doing something like that.

I was doing my 6:30 OPK check and somehow forgot that I had the OPKs in my hand and they all fell in the toilet. Now I'm gonna have to go get some from $Tree.

I had either early AF last night & early today, or possible implantation bleeding. Trying not to get my hopes up!

BABYDUST AROUND!

Congrats cupcait. I will be praying your little bean sticks this time!
Welcome and babydust back at you!!

Cupcait, congrats!! Sticky dust!

OH MY GOSH hopefullymama.... my mom has done that before... OUCH. The oil soaks in to your skin and can stay there for many hours even after washing.

Oh, I know that's not really funny, but you'll laugh someday -- after it stops burning! That reminds me of a couple years ago, I was gifted a few hot peppers I'd never eaten before (they were chiles panameños, which I gather is a Habanero). I was so excited and was chopping them up for dinner when I got an eye itch. You know the rest of the story. I had to flush my eyes out for twenty minutes, and even then, I couldn't wear my contacts for at least two or three days! Hope your, uh, cervix is feeling better.

Hmm.

I tested this morning...at first it looked negative. A little while after the time is supposed to be "up" it most definitely looks positive. Not like a silvery-gray evap line...a very noticeable pink (albeit faint) second line.

I showed my six year old son, who didn't know what it was and I said "how many lines do you see?" and he immediately said "two..." and that is no matter which angle you look from.

Hmm.

I took a picture of it, and I can see it in the photo. I think I'll try to upload it here, just for fun. I guess I'll test again in a few days unless AF comes beforehand.

Hmm.

lovinlife1219- Good Luck! I hope you get 2 dark lines whenever you test again. You have more willpower than I do though!

Thank you FairyMe!

Here are the pictures.

Here and here.

The first one is un-altered and the second one I made more of a contrast so it was easier to see. Can anyone else see it? Now that I look on the computer, they are so so so faint that I'm probably the only one to see it!

Oh well. Time will tell
I swear I can see it too!
I may be wishful thinking for you, but I SWEAR I see the second line.
lovinlife.... I sure see one... can't wait to hear and update!

Question

Hey guys, quick question.

I had a really, really weird pain early this morning. Like, it literally woke me out of a sound sleep, it hurt that bad. It was definitely in the uterus-y area, and felt nothing like period cramps at all (which I imagine is also what implantation or ovulation cramps feel like). It was much more stabby and sharp, and went away after about 3 minutes. What in the heck do you think it was?!?

I had a temp spike (of about .4 degrees above coverline) 3 days ago, so I'm assuming I ovulated 4 days ago...right? That's too early for implantation cramps, and too late for ovulation cramps, right?

Sorry I'm so clueless about all this, but this is my first month charting and kinda my first month really paying attention to my body's signals. And I know sometimes people feel weird, phantom pains when you're trying to conceive, hoping that it's implantation....but I did NOT imagine this. It hurt bad.

Let me know what you gals think, please!

Also, SUPER congrats to cupcait and lovinlife!!!!!

Woo hoo!!!!

I am not too sure, still, so I don't wanna get my hopes up. I haven't even told DH yet, until after I test again. I think I will test either Sat or Mon. By then, I would hope for a dark line, no guessing, you know?

I will definitely update then.

Thanks everyone!

Fingers crossed for you all

Please add me too! Even though, yes, I know it's the last day of September

My name is GreenMamma, I'm 25, and I have 3 children. My youngest is 17 months old and is nursing about 4 times in the day and 3-4 times at night. I'm still waiting for my first ppaf. I'm currently taking Maca to start cycling again (only 6 days into it and can already notice some big changes in my cm and energy levels). I tried Vitex for a while and when nothing happened thought I'd take a break from it and try something else. Sooo...hello!!

BFN this morning

Either I was pregnant and I am not anymore, or I never was. Neither of which would surprise me, but I will admit I am disappointed.

Now I have to wait for another long @$$ cycle for AF to get here, then I can start my new regimen (per my midwife) and hopefully get my body back on track to conceive.

I've never had problems with fertility before, so it's a bit disheartening.

Thanks for all your support everyone.

lovinlife- I am SO SORRY! I know how hard BFN's are!
*HUGS*
