Tapestry of Grace

Does anyone here use this curriculum? We're considering leaving our k12 school (I just have too much going to dedicate *that* much time daily and keeping attendance and logging hours for two kids) and this is one of the programs we're thinking about as an option. Based on what dd1 did in k12 history last year we'd go into year 2 (I don't want to do ancients with dd1 two years in a row really, and year 2 just sounds like it would be a lot more fun for our family). Our appeal to it is the fact that I can use it with all 4 as we keep going through, and that we won't have to repurchase the guide each time (just the one time for each year plan). But then, its awfully expensive and money isn't something we have a lot of. I can't decide if its really worth it or if I should try to come up with something else to use instead...............

I got a copy for review (Belive it was the ancient Egyptians bit).

Ohmygoodness. I was great but it was a *lot* of work for me. Did not fit with my personality at all--there was just too much information, I couldn't process it well, and therefore I couldn't do a good job teaching.

If I had a different personality, it probably would have worked great. I know lots of people love it. It just wasn't for me though.
