Midwife in/near Mishawaka, IN

Hi Mommas!

I just heard from a friend in Indiana who is expecting baby #3 and considering a homebirth. Does anyone have any homebirth midwives they would like to recomend? Thanks for your help!

I'm not affiliated with this group, but they have a listing of midwives in Indiana, including several in her area. They have monthly meetings I believe, I imagine the group members may have midwife recs if she wanted more info on the individuals listed. http://www.indianabirthchoices.com/

Hi!
I used Laura Gilbert. She is in Goshen, but that is still pretty close and I'm pretty sure that she'll do homebirths in Mishawaka. She is a CNM and works with another midwife...um...man. Her name is escaping me right now. Anyway, her site is:

We had a very nice experience with our first home birth with her. She's professional and easy to work with!
