Lubricants and TTC

I have a question about lubes. We are TTC#2. I know it's best to avoid lubricant all together while ttc, but this ain't gonna happen with me. It is just too uncomfortable for me without it.

I've read that some lubes are more sperm freindly than others. I've been using slippery stuff for quite some time and they have this to say on their website

Outside laboratory testing has shown that Slippery Stuff is one of the most sperm friendly products on the market. Some women have told us they weren't able to get pregnant until they started using Slippery Stuff, but it is unlikely that Slippery Stuff was the reason for this as it doesn't contain fertility "enhancers." Our guess is they were having sex more often because they were enjoying it more.
anyone know of other "sperm friendly" lubes??

I will add however that DS was conceived using K-Y!!

PreSeed is the only sperm-friendly lube I'm aware of.

preseed is great. you can look at their website and buy it at cvs or walgreens.

true dat. but i never use a whole applicator full. you just dont need to. i think most ladies around here who use it say they fill the applicator tube with about 1 inch of the preseed, and it's plenty.

I hear egg whites are also sperm friendly.

ive heard that too. i guess if you dont mind your vajayjay smelling like rotten eggs after a few days. and how on earth would you get them in there even if you wanted to? trying to pick up a spilled broken egg is about as easy as herding cats, i cant imagine trying to get that up there. not for me. preseed is awesome.

I don't know anything about slippery stuff. We used preseed this last cycle and I didn't get pregnant but it sure made things a lot more comfortable on the 3rd and 4th day in a row of dtd when we weren't really into it as much. I just wish it didn't contain parabens.

Love pre-seed, got mine at cvs, lasts forever, don't use the whole applicator, i did once, and it was like oil wrestling

I dont think eggwhites would make your vag smell bad, but I have never actually tried it. I think it would work its way out before it could go bad. A healthy egg is sterile.

yeah. but i still have visions of making scrambled eggs in there. i'll eat my eggs and insert my preseed.

I'm really glad someone asked this question. I've been avoiding lube, but using it would make things a lot more pleasant.

Does anyone else think "Pre-Seed" is a terrible name for a lubricant? Maybe it's just me, but really...they couldn't come up with something a little sexier?

DH and I refer to it as "Go Spermy Go!"

Coconut oil seems to be highly recommended based on what I've heard, and some research on the net.

I use preseed and me and my husband love it! We also don't use the applicator at all, we find its just easier. I haven't gotten pregnant but we think its one of the best lubes we ever used.
