Over the last 24 hrs, DS has been awake more than usual (6 weeks old tomorrow). He was feeding on both breasts and emptying them pretty well (then sleeping about 3 hrs) over the last few weeks. Just yesterday he decided to feed on one breast only and not even "finish" that side before falling asleep. He now sleeps for 45 min or an hour then wants to feed again- and again he only takes half a breast and the cycle repeats.
We are on vacation and I have been eating "bad" so I wonder if that is creating issues or if he is going through a growth spurt.
On the positive note... we visited the maid of the mist at niagara falls and ended up nursing him half way through the ride. It was challenging with the moby wrap and poncho but we made it!
