DS 1 has some interesting sensory stuff going on. Since he was tiny, he has preferred not to wear pants or to wear blue jeans only. Other pants just haven't ever been something he tolerated.
I'm ok with that, and have enough little boy blue jeans with room in the bum for cloth diapers to outfit at least 3 kids (I have two in almost the same size).
We just returned from the doctor's office with a diagnosis of dermographia (we're working on the origin) and directions to stick to things like stretchy cotton pants and short and long sleeved cotton tshirts- avoiding anything that might cause skin irritation. He advised against jeans or shirts with collars or buttons... and now.. about 90% of my son's wardrobe is stuff that's off limits.
Suggestions for sources of stuff that is less likely to cause irritation, but is still within reach of a very broke mama financially? I checked the thrift shops, but I live in cowboy-land- almost everything is jeans/button up shirts.
