How long was your labor with your 2nd in comparison to your first? - Page 3

#1 - 6 hours

#2 - 6 hours

#3 - 6 hours

What differed between my first and later labors was the start of labor and the pushing phase. My later labors included more unclear, irregular early labor and my fist labor included a much longer pushing phase (2 hours).

1st labor was 49 hours with 3 hours of pushing.
2nd labor had 9 days of contractions every 10-30 minutes followed by a 9 hour 'labor' with around an hour of pushing.

I don't think the second time was less traumatic for my body in the slightest. The constant contracting before labor 'really' began basically wore out my uterus and I hemorrhaged because my uterus didn't want to contract anymore once the baby was out and stop bleeding.

1st - (39 weeks, 5 days) 23.5 hours, pushing phase- 4 hours off and on Not fun, but at least I was able to stay home.

2nd - (on the EDD) 3.5 hours, pushing phase ~45min? Amazing hypnobabies homebirth.
