Ok - the biting your dh while sleeping - had me in TEARS! I was laughing so hard I couldn't even read it all to my dh! I could sooooo see that happening to us.

So mine is from a couple of years ago when dh was travelling a LOT for business coupled with me being gone a fair bit working at camps.

His flight was arriving just before midnight on a Friday night & I decided to surprise him when I picked him up. I'll say right now it all seemed like a MUCH better idea in our dim bedroom than the brightly lit airport.

So I got all gussied up & head out to the airport. What was I wearing? Hooker boots up to my knees, a short black skirt & a corset with hair & make up all done. I'm not a small lady so the effect was kind of a very voluptious hooker.

As if that wasn't all enough the whole night was a comedy of errors. First I got pulled over at a seatbelt check by the police & had to explain where I was going ("ah, yeah, officer, it's been awhile since I've seen my dh"), his plane was 1.5 hours late (so I got to hang out in the brightly lit airport looking like I'm looking for "work") & the topper, my dh did not arrive alone - he was with his boss, whom I'd never met before.

Apparently as they came down the escalator dh said to his boss "you haven't met my dw before - there she is". His boss quickly said hi & then scurried off. Dh was absolutely flabbergast & quickly gave me his jacket (which only helped marginally as I then looked like I wearing nothing but boots).

We laughed the whole 40 min. drive home & both are in tears everytime we tell the story.

I have a feeling mom was right off camera the whole time, as she said "Come, mama" at the end as she's walking away. They did one more video with her and then she 'retired'. Love it.

this is totally random and maybe a little scary but my friend was so funny when he told it after the fact that it always makes me laugh!

A guy I used to work with, John, told me a story about his MIL. They had traveled to FL to see her. She lives in a house with a pool and when they arrived (John, his wife, and their 3 kids) she said "have a glass of wine and just relax" and they sat out by the pool. He was worried about their 2 year old by the pool. MIL said "I'll watch him, don't worry. You had a long flight, relax."

He sits down at a table near the pool and MIL is standing "supervising" the little one and the other two as they settle in. Little one is teetering closer and closer to the edge. Little One falls in the pool and MIL looks down into the pool--John jumps out of the chair and into the pool fully clothed and pulls out little one.

As he is standing there dripping wet MIL says "John, I would have gotten him." In John's retelling of the story he explodes "When?!! When? How about before the kid falls in the water???!" but I don't think he actually said that to his MIL.

Anyway, John is now routinely ridiculed at all of their family events for "over-reacting" and the time he jumped in the pool with all his clothes on.

This youtube video : http://il.youtube.com/watch?v=bCSfkM3Muak

Ellen aired it on her show last season and I nearly peed my pants laughing. I can watch that video 10 times in a row and STILL hurt from laughing so hard. It's just so funny to watch that little lamb bounce around like that!

I also love the video with the little girl saying if she doesn't kick the monster's "ask" he's going to come over heeeere, and kick MY ask. LOL.

This was before we had kids. DH and I were staying at a beach house w/ his parents, his younger sister (who was about 22 at the time), and a bunch of his sister's friends.

We went out drinking with SIL and her friends, but then DH and I came back to the beach house for a little lovin'. We quickly fell asleep afterwards.

DH must have had a little too much to drink, because he got up (naked) to use the bathroom, and ended up laying down in the BATHTUB after peeing, and he fell back asleep there.

SIL and her friends came home and SIL went into the bathroom to use it, only to find her naked brother sleeping in the tub. She is very prudish and also very critical of DH in general, so this by itself was hilarious.

But then she knocked on our bedroom door and said "Bethany! YOUR HUSBAND is NAKED in the BATHTUB! Can you please come get him out?? I need to pee!"

So I got up and ran out of the room, half-asleep and also still a bit tipsy. My horrified SIL and her friends had another shock when I came running out into the hallway, topless! to fetch my silly DH out of the bathroom.

I woke up laughing that morning, and DH said "Wait, did that really happen last night?" Oh yes, it did.

We still talk about it frequently, 6 years later.

Thanks to those who posted the hyperbole and a half and the oatmeal page! awesome.

DP and I have kind of a twisted sense of humor but both he and I crack up everytime Charlie The Unicorn is even mentioned. Llams With Hats is pretty good too.

Maddox and The Best Page in the Universe always has me in stitches too.
