TMI but stomach problems

I cannot eat without having diahrhea or vomiting afterward (usually diahrhea and it's usually urgent). I went to the doctor and told them this and they tested me for celiac which came back negative. Apparently that's all the clinic is going to do so what's a good next step? What should I try now?
(And I can't go to another dr. because I have no insurance)

Any stomach pain? I'm having similar symptoms plus a few others and it's gallbladder attacks.

how long has it been happening?
does it happen with all food or just some foods?
have you tried keeping a food journal?
it could be lactose intolerance or any kind of food intolerance... it could be viral (depending on how long it's lasted)... more information please!

Usually the next step is an ultrasound of your abdomen, and blood tests/stool tests.

Ahh. Sorry. I was in a rush and forgot details.
Been going on for about 18 months *from the time I got pregnant with DD to now* after I eat anything. I eat and 15 minutes later I'm sick vomiting or diarhea. It doesn't seem to matter what I eat. I haven't kept a food diary because it really is EVERY time I eat. Should I try an elimination diet? What do you eliminate and for how long?

You have been getting sick every time you eat for 18 months and all your doctor has done is run a celiac test? I would be in there demanding more testing. That is a very long time for you to be experiencing this, and it must be very hard on you in many ways. I hope you can get some answers and relief soon.

I know. I don't have any insurance and so the first time I went to a doctor was about 6 months ago and all she did was tell me to take Immodium. So I scheduled another appointment with a different clinic (the one I just went to and all she did was test for celiac), even if I schedule another appointment, it will be months in the future (i live in a big city so the clinics are booked quick), so I was looking for ideas until then.

I get upsets stomach really really easy, and I go thru bouts of getting sick everytime I eat. I totally understand! I've been told in the past it's IBS but I really think I'm allergic to everything LOL. Sometimes I end up sick, sometimes I just feel sick, and a few times I've gotten so sick I just wanted to die. (not literally)

Good luck! I haven't gone to the doctor lately either, because the last time I went I got brushed off. I've been getting upsets stomachs since childhood. (hence why I was told it was IBS) I just carry Imodium with me at all times.

Yikes...that sounds horrible. I definitely suggest getting more tests done.

In the meantime, what about trying the GAPS diet or SCD It's pretty restrictive, but it sounds like if things are that bad you might need to do something drastic. I'm guessing you must have lots of gut damage if you've had that much diarrhea and vomiting.

also - try taking a good probiotic. I have had on and off stomach problems and that seemed to help. My bigest issue was urgent diareah also (sorry for the TMI).

I would start by eliminating the most likely offenders: gluten and dairy first, strictly, and taking a high dose probiotic several times per day, then reevaluating how you feel.

SCD is a good idea too.

You can be intolerant of gluten and not be celiac.

I have been doing a no egg, dairy, or wheat elimination diet for three days. I started feeling better the very first day, so how long do I need to NOT eat these things before I reintroduce them one by one?
