I think what's happening is that my son (2.5) draws in more breast tissue when I'm empty (all I have right now is colostrum - I'm 36 weeks pregnant). Empty, combined with the overlatching makes me want to swat him! It's horrible!
Any suggestions? I'm hoping having milk again will sort of fix both problems at once, and I tried to tell him not to put so much in his mouth - but then he just sort of kisses my nipple. So I can't figure out how to explain it to him!
