First PPAF, or just PP hormones?

I'm all hormone-y and miserable. At first I thought I was getting my first PPAF b/c my face broke out, which normally only happens right before AF. That started 2-3 days ago, and I haven't seen anything, BUT I've been totally and obviously hormonal. Today, I've been having all kinds of random pangs of pain and discomfort in my uterine area, but not actual cramps.

Does this sound familiar to anyone? Could it just be random PP hormones? I really don't want my period back already, but at least that'd be an explanation. Argh. Ember is 2 months old now, fwiw. With dd1, AF came back around 5 1/2 mos, and I thought THAT was early...

I dunno Bjorker. I've had a similar thing going on here, complete with breakouts and emotions and pain/discomfort in lower ab. Not sure what it is.

With ds I got af back at 16 mths!

Thanks for the response! I never did start bleeding, and the 'symptoms' have lessened, so i guess it's just hormones. Very weird though, I was SURE I was going to have my period, it felt so much like it - just extra wacky.

I saw my MW today for a late 6 wks appt (ds is 7.5 wks) and asked her about this. She was nodding as I described the situation and said, "So your uterus was doing a final involution," as I asked about the cramping. Just sharing that in case it helps to know!

Hmm. Does that involve extra hormones too? I definitely had some weird hormone surge going on.
