my son has relished smashing his nose against ours since he was a baby. He is now 2.5. He doesn't do it often. Usually only if we are already cuddling or wrestling or something. He'll aim our face just right, then PRESS away and hold until we can't take it any more. It's funny, a tad weird (but I'm not worried), and kinda painful. Just curious if there was anyone else... He keeps his eyes open, and his mouth too, which is fabulous when he is lying on top of us because then he drools on us. :-)










It was definitely a (strange) sign of affection. Started when he was about 6 months, ended when he was about 18 months or so - got some really cute pictures of it in the meantime, especially one of his very surprised Godmother (my BFF from college) the first time he did it to her!
