does anyone else's baby/kid like to smash noses?

my son has relished smashing his nose against ours since he was a baby. He is now 2.5. He doesn't do it often. Usually only if we are already cuddling or wrestling or something. He'll aim our face just right, then PRESS away and hold until we can't take it any more. It's funny, a tad weird (but I'm not worried), and kinda painful. Just curious if there was anyone else... He keeps his eyes open, and his mouth too, which is fabulous when he is lying on top of us because then he drools on us. :-)

Dd is almost 2 and she's a nose holder. She likes to grab on and just hold it. It's so weird.

No nose smashing. DS would rather pick your nose.

My youngest had what we called the "ear foldability test". He would suck his thumb and fold his ear with his other hand. If he was feeling very snuggly and he really liked you he would reach over and check how foldable your ear was too.

My 13 month old finds it entertaining to grab a hold of my nose with an iron grip by reaching his thumb into my nostril and using the rest of his hand to grip the outside of my nose, then pull hard. I'd prefer the smashing, I think.

DD has just discovered pointing to her nose, but her particular fetish is hair. She grabs my hair and PULLS! I mean she pulls herself up using my hair. She did that to DH too, yesterday. The worst part is that she yells "OWWWWWW! OWWWWW!!!!!" the whole time she's doing it. Little bugger.

It's still kinda cute, though.

DS used to love chomping noses. He never used his teeth or made it hurt, just kind of pretended to nom nom/levae his mtouh on your nose for 5 seconds or so. It was definitely a (strange) sign of affection. Started when he was about 6 months, ended when he was about 18 months or so - got some really cute pictures of it in the meantime, especially one of his very surprised Godmother (my BFF from college) the first time he did it to her!

My DH and DD head butt each other. I don't understand how it doesn't hurt... he usually grunts, and she laughs up a storm. You can hear it across the room she butts him so hard. I usually have to make them stop or leave the room because it gives me the willies.

AJ likes to push his nose on my nose. His favorite game is to pull on my lips until I open my mouth and then he'll try to grab my tongue or touch my teeth. I say he's giving me a dental exam.
