My DD is 17 days old and we just had a routine pedi appt where I said she spit up after maybe half her daytime feeds, maybe a tablespoon or less. Today, however, she's spitting five or six times after every feed, teaspoon or more each time. Pedi already said that he doesn't want to do anything for reflux until 2-3 months and I burp her religiously every time she pulls off. What do I do for her?

Thank you for your response
My concern stems from weight and contentment issues, actually. Pedi wasn't happy that she wasn't back up to her birth weight yet (three oz shy at 16 days) and her tummy seems to hurt quite a bit, if the crying/screaming is any indication. We keep her upright as much as possible, but she's not keeping the calories down, yk?
Thanks again! Off to go do said laundry
