Mucus plug at 20 weeks

Thread Starter
I am 20 weeks tomorrow, and tonight I passed about a 3/4" diameter mucus plug glob. I have been charting for 5 years, this was definitely not just discharge. It looked exactly like the mucus plug that I passed with my 1st DD at 36+4, and she was born a week later. Is this a huge deal? DH and I dtd this morning after a couple weeks of not. I have heard the mucus plug can regenerate. Should I be concerned? Call my midwife?

TIA.

Yes, I have also heard the plug can regenerate but I would try and find out why it happened. If I were you I would call the MW and get checked out to make sure everything is OK.
