Well look at all of these new IVF babies coming into the world! I am so happy for all of you.You've worked hard for this and you deserve it.

Maurine, lots of love to you. I am so sorry that this wasn't your cycle. Give yourself some time to heal from it before you try again. Your heart has to be in it to go again. I hope that you and your husband are successful next time.

AFM, I saw the question earlier about whether or not we preggos had entered our DDCs. I have been lurking some there, but I haven't posted anything. It doesn't feel right. I sort of feel like I'm in no-man's land. 

Critter is doing well, I'm 11w3d now. Got to see pics yesterday on ultrasound and critter was measuring three days ahead with a strong hb of 173. Waiting to hear from my RE on blood results from today, I may be done with the PIO injections and maybe the estrace.

Wow, glad to hear that you're doing well!  Thanks for the love, but it was Keria who was unsucessful this round.  We're all rooting for her for next round (with a new RE!).

blueyezz, good luck tomorrow!!!  Sorry I've been so quiet, but report cards were due today and it's been a little overwhelming.  I thought I posted about the intralipids, but I think I disguised it inside a long post.  It's basically to help bind with and flush out any aggressive immune cells that may be in my body; at least that's how I understood it.  I am so going to be waiting to hear how your U/S goes tomorrow!  Go heartbeat(s), go!!! :)

Glad to hear that there are so many of us pregnant and doing well! I had my final ultrasound with my RE today. I am 13 weeks 2 days (honestly, I can hardly believe it as I am writing it!) and critter looks good.

Although when I expressed a slight concern that I had started showing so early, and at the top of my abdomen rather than the bottom - my RE barely suppressed a smile and made reference to "lax abdominal muscles" and "excess gas"    Lovely!

Off to my midwives next week...!

Oh!  Because it's part of their loss protocol. It falls under the "it can only help" category.  :o

btw - I was looking for a thread I started last time I was pregnant, "No Stressor Pregnant Zen Queens," because I wanted to find a cool link I found then (Visible Embryo Carnegie Stage 4 ), and I saw that you and I were in that group together!  whoa...and weird.  I'm so glad that we get to be pregnant together again, and this time hopefully our babies keep growing healthy and strong: I have so much hope and faith in them!!!  I thought it was a strange coincidence, and I just wanted to send you a hug.

AFM - Went to RE today for u/s and bw. Everything looking A-OK. I have 16 follicles (not bad for 40 yr old!), but 8 are more ahead and 8 are kinda behind (8 mm).

Hopefully, some of the smaller ones will catch up.

The nurse said probably 4 more days of stims, then trigger time! 

I have to say, I'm feeling very few side effects from the drugs--far fewer than last time. I'm chalking it up to the acupuncture and herbs.

I feel anxious about the upcoming retrieval--just want good eggs! Other than that, I'm feeling pretty relaxed and optimistic.

Tear - I see... I think that is great that they are doing the intralipids with you!  I'm all about trying anything to help prevent what has happened in the past.  Do you have to pay for it or does insurance cover something like that? 

How crazy that you started that other thread too and we were both on it (you way more than me... i had to go back to look at it again to refresh my memory. I must have posted once and then forgotten about it or something).  Anyways, lets hope that we both have much better luck this time around!!!  I know we will!!!  Thanks for the hug and here's a right back at you!!

Yay for follies!  Glad you're feeling good.  I felt pretty good during my stims, too.  It was the days after the retrieval that I felt icky.  But all better now!

ps - the intralipids were out of pocket, but they only cost $85, so it wasn't too bad.

Maurine, you're up tomorrow!!!  Good luck, honey!  Oh, and I read your post about cramping on the DDC.  I'm pretty sure cramping in early pregnancy is TOTALLY normal.  Google "round ligament pain."  That's probably what you're feeling.  Your uterus is stretching out as your baby grows. 

Lesliesara, TWINS, YAY!!!!  My twin buddy (I hope)!  Two heartbeats, that's awesome!!!  Congratulations, honey!!!!

I feel like I missed some people...I've been in a bit of a haze (NOT complaining, btw ).  I think I'm either fighting off a cold, or extreme exhaustion/scratchy throat just got added to my symptoms.  I'm going to try to take a nap.  Lots of love to you ladies!

Wow, what a day!!  We left the house at 9am and just got home about 10 mins ago (7pm)!!  Well, I'm trying to stay positive, but when you are sitting in a lab with a form calling for blood work for a possible "threatened abortion" it is not a very positive thing!!  We went to our U/S this afternoon out of state and the Dr. found the sac and we saw a tiny little bean in there with the blood flow visible, but no heart beat yet.  The little bean was really bumped up against the wall of my uterus and is very small, which he said was a little concerning, but he wanted me to have another U/S next tues or wed here in my area.  He also sent me for another HCG and TSH again as well.  So then after driving all the way home about 3 hrs we had to go to our local hospital and have a blood drawn.  I'm so glad to be home and I'm just hoping and praying that our little bean will stick around and grown stronger and healthy for his/her next picture next week!!  I'm feeling a little emotional and stressed right now, but I'm going to try to stay positive b/c I know it can still happen!!

Oh Blue, I'm so sorry that today was so stressful and difficult...I can imagine how nervous that information would make you for the next few days, despite the best efforts to stay positive.

It can't be said enough...rainbow baby pregnancies should be 100% FREE OF ALL STRESS AND PROBLEMS. It's not fair. Believe me, I know...my pregnancy with these twins was HORRIBLY stressful, as I think you know...and these are my rainbow babies.

BELIEVE IN YOUR BEAN. I will be praying for you and thinking of you and your bean and sending TONS of sticky baby vibes every moment until your next scan.

Oh, Mamas, some silliness for you -

I went to acupuncture today. I told my acupuncturist I've been feeling tired from the stims (big surprise). Anyway, he got me set up with the needles, dimmed the lights and left me...

for 1 hour and 45 minutes (usually he leaves me for 45 min. or so)!

I passed out and slept like a baby.

I woke up when he came back in and realized I had a dream.

Acupuncture Dream

I dreamed that I took out all the acupuncture needles and took a hot bath. After the bath, I picked up my Chinese herbs (for tea) and there was a bag of other medicine, too. I asked if it was for me. The receptionist said it was. I opened it up and there were all these little pills shaped like different animals for me to take (kinda like Flintstones vitamins...).

So, I dreamed about acupuncture while having acupuncture--LOL!
