still having some bleeding 4 wks ppd, is this normal?

okay, my dd is 4 weeks old today and i am still having light bleeding sometimes. i read online it can last up to 6 weeks, anyone else ever have bleeding that long? it's pretty annoying now. especially cause i won't have any for almost all day and then i'll wipe and have some. i can't remember how long i bleed with ds.

I have been bleeding for three weeks and 2 days and it is still everyday. I have to use a regular pad still because just liners dont always cut it. I've not thought anything of it. I think I bled about 5 weeks with ds and I bled for 6 weeks after a miscarriage.

I am 4 weeks postpartum and still bleeding a little, too. I didn't finish bleeding completely for just over 6 weeks last time. It's normal.

Yup, I'm 6 weeks and it's been pretty much done for a week, but every few days I bleed enough (brown) to change my underwear. I needed liners for 5 weeks, though.

Just over 4 weeks pp here (DS was one month yesterday, yay!) and still spotting. Mostly brown but I have some pinkish/red blood come through too. I think it's normal. I have days that are very light to no bleeding and then a day of a little more than spotting. I'm using liners on a daily basis.

I bled until about 4.5 - 5 wks, which was longer than the first time, but I attribute it to having to be more active, earlier this time (DS1 wasn't going to take care of himself!!!).

I will be 4 weeks PP on Friday and I still, without fail, spot once a day. For most of the day I have nothing, then all of a sudden, late afternoon, I start bleeding a bit until early evening. Then I have brown overnight. The next day it starts all over again.

I'm 5 weeks pp and still wear a liner during the day. Often times I don't need it, but probably once a day I spot a little bit.

6.5 weeks here and thought I was nearly done until last week when I had a couple of days of red again. Then it went away and now it's back. I'm frustrated and confused. Not sure if it's due to activity or something else. I think I had brown spotting until around 6 weeks with DD1, but no return of red this late. Chasing and sometimes wrestling with DD1 this time may be the difference.

Btw, why does activity bring back red blood? Isn't there a limit to what's in there? Am I doing damage? I don't exactly understand the process, I guess.

Amy I'm almost 6 weeks pp and had the same thing happen-I was down to very light spotting and had almost period heavy bleeding the past few days. I don't feel like I'm doing more than I was so I am confused too.

I'm 7+ wks pp and mine is finally done (knock on wood) -- I haven't had any spotting for about 2 weeks.
