5yo biting hard enough to draw blood

My 5yo son B. bit his older sister's hand hard enough to break the skin in four places. This isn't the first time he's bitten one of his siblings, but it's the first time he's done enough damage for me to seriously consider a trip to the ER for the bite. How do I get him to stop doing this?

This article from Hand in Hand Parenting helped immensely with my 5yo ds' biting. He had bitten his sister a few times and once the boy I do daycare for The article helped me understand the behaviour and gave me tools to prevent it. I can honestly say that since reading the article he hasn't bitten since. Hopefully it continues this way...
