Another head question

Ds3 has a ridge in the middle of his head; a line down the top middle from about as far back as his ears to his forehead. A couple drs (GP's) have said they don't think it's a problem, but check with a pediatrician. Then they didn't give me a referral.

You can kind of see it on his forehead in this picture http://i16.photobucket.com/albums/b4...a/IMGP0406.jpg

Any idea if it needs to be/can be corrected?

My good friend's brother had something where the bones in his head fused together too soon and he had some sort of ridge on his head. I didn't see it myself, and I know he had to have corrective surgery as a baby. I would think that if it were something like that, the docs would catch it, though.

My son had this for a bit.... we went to a chiropracgtor who "adjusted" his skull (before hitting 2 is the only way this works I'm told). Its not like a popping type of adjustment...more like a massage way. Anyway its gone now. He told us that its not a big deal if the plates fuzz like that, but its more likely the child will have headaches/migraines as they get older. Same with the top plate in your mouth... if there is a ridge bump down the middle. I of course then had to go around asking my friends who had HA/migraines... and a high amount of them DID have the ridge. Thought it was interesting.
