I am Petra, mother of a 2.5yo boy and a 10mo girl. Having immigrated to Australia from the UK (I'm German) a couple of years ago without any family support here I sometimes find it incredibly hard to be a good mum to my two high energy darlings. The answer usually is: No, we are not meant to parent in isolation. My positive discipline forum pointed me to this discussion board and its 'tribe finder'. Seems there is nobody out there but you never know. We are a fairly AP, homebirthing, non-vaccinating, babywearing, extended breastfeeding, co-sleeping lot. Would be great to find more like-minded mothers closeby.
