Ohss :(

I think I have mild OHSS again. I only had 4-5 mature follicles (the right ovary is blocked so it doesn't matter if I have as many over there). Is it even possible to develop OHSS with only 4-5 follicles? I had it with the cycle where I conceived my daughter, but I know I had more follicles on my right side.

I don't really know much about it, but still even with 5 follies there is a lot of extra fluid. I hope you feel better soon.

I'm sure that is PLENTY of follicles to cause OHSS and i'm sorry sweetie!! I Know how it feels...i hope you feel better soon!!!!!!

Usually high levels of estrogen & an HCG trigger shot will cause OHSS. I have a friend who had 32 eggs retrieved during IVF & didn't get OHSS. I got it with all my 3 cycles and had different amounts of eggs but much less then her. Drink lots of fluid is the only real advice I can give, its horrible but usually goes away on its own with time. Hope you feel better soon.

Thanks for the support. I saw my RE this morning, and she confirmed that you can get OHSS with only a few mature follicles. I had an ultrasound this morning and saw my swollen ovaries first hand. Nothing to do but just wait it out, again.

She said no lifting or much physical activity. I have a very active 19 month old! ARGH!
