soy and multiples

I'm wondering if any of you or anyone you know has taken soy and conceived twins. I understand soy mimics clomid which can cause the release of more than one eggie and I'm wondering if soy will do this as well. I'm thinking of giving it a go next cycle, and I'm a little hesitant if it may lead to more than one little bean. I'm not sure I'm currently up for that!

Thank you!

I don't think it increases the risk of twins. I used it to conceive my third child and there's just one of her!

There is a lady that used it and had twins on a different message board.. I don;t know if she would have had twins if she was not taking the soy. She tried a long time to get pg and her 1st cycle with soy got pg with twins...

This is my first cycle on soy and I did quite a bit of research. I did see posts on lots of different sites where multiples were mentioned. But I'm not sure how many of those may have been multiples without the soy.

I gathered from all my research that soy acts like clomid and clomid does have about a 5-10% increased chance of multiples. So I would assume soy would have about the same stats.

I actually wouldn't mind multiples. DH and I thought we could get it all done in try. But I would have a hard time being done if I had b-b or g-g twins.

But, personally, even if I was afraid of multiples, with that low of a probability I would still give soy a chance.
