I also didn't temp because I thought I had my period. ??
I'm very confused and not sure it's for real, but DH is giddy as anything.

That is very similar to what happened to me when I got pregnant with DD. I had a couple of BFNs, started what I thought was AF but it was lighter and only lasted a couple of days. I had one last test and took it "just in case" and got a BFP.
I really wouldn't stress about the alcohol. I finally got my BFP while I was in Vegas for my brother's wedding, and had been having a really good time. I didn't think there was any chance I was pregnant so I spent four days drinking pretty much all day (never 'drunk' as I didn't drink that fast, but it was all day long). I had coffee and baileys with my mom playing slots, beer with lunch, daiquiris at the pool, wine with dinner, and champagne to toast my brother and his bride. Seriously.
Of course as soon as I got my BFP I stopped drinking. My DH wasn't with me (he had to work) and I didn't want to tell him over the phone, and I didn't want to tell my family before I told him so they all just thought I was hung over and didn't want to drink anymore. I still remember my dad asking me if I wanted a beer at the pool. I said no thanks, just a water. He said "A water, AND a beer??"
Anyway, long story even longer, DD is now over 2yo, has always been slightly advanced developmentally (she walked at 10mo!), has a huge vocabulary, smart as a whip, and the healthiest kid I know. There is absolutely zero signs of any effects on her from mommy's good time at uncle's wedding.
Lots and lots of women have surprise pregnancies and have a few drinks before they find out. As long as you avoid alcohol from here on out, your baby will be just fine.
Congratulations!!!
