baked chicken scraps in crock pot?

In the past I have always baked and chicken and then the next day boiled it all to make stock and then made chicken soup. But now I am working 5 days a week and today I am baking a chicken and wont have another day off to boil a chicken carcass all day until friday. So can I make stock in a crock pot? it doesnt seem big enough? has anyone done this before?

I've done stock in the crock pot before. The only issue I've run into is my family complains that it smells like soup all night and they wake up hungry

I think the last time I did it I just used the body and not the legs and wings. There is less room in the crock pot than there is in the pot I usually use for stock.

I use a 6 qrt crockpot and do 2 chicken carcasses at a time with vegies. But these are just the bones. Sometimes I just out the bones in the freezer and make stock later with it.

Mine can do three carcasses if the bones are broken some... which I do anyway to make the bone broth. I just save them in a freezer until I feel ready to make a batch.

Absolutely! That's how I usually do mine, actually.
