Travel Bed Recommendations

Thread Starter
We will be going on vacation with our baby for the first time next month. He'll be four months old then. We co-sleep, but we're not sure what the bed is going to be like at the apartment we're renting. It could be two single beds. So we want to bring a travel bed just in case, and maybe for naps. I was thinking I should get it pretty soon and try to get DS used to it by using it at home for some naps first ~ is that how you do it?
So, can you recommend a travel bed for us? TIA!

... bump! I don't know anything about travel beds but would love to hear about portable mats/beds that are good/safe for cosleeping. Our regular bed is way too soft for bedsharing and I would love to be able to take naps with my baby girl on the floor on a mat.

not sure if this is too late for you....I have tried several "travel beds" and none of them worked for me.
We FINALLLLY got the Baby Bjorn travel Crib Light and it is GREAT! I can honestly say it is worth the money.

hope it helps.

We co-sleep but have used Peapod on trips for specific reasons, both the small infant size and later, the kid size. The beds pack down into a managable size.
