Laundry Detergent Help! Ecos brand

I just went to Costco and bought the only natural/eco/healthy/etc. detergent they had which was ECOS and come home to read the label more closely and it says "with coconut oil based fabric softener/cleaner".
Will this detergent kill my diapers? ???
I can't return it because the nearest costco is about an hour away from where I live, but now I have a full bottle from before of normal detergent and this huge bottle of 'natural' detergent.
Does anyone else use this brand?

Ecos is on this chart over at Diaper Jungle:

According to them, it's ok. I've never personally used Ecos. Use less than you would for regular laundry, though. Good luck!

I use it for all of our laundry (diapers & clothes).
I get the giant Costco bottle as well I have never had any problems with our diapers, and I have a real smorgasbord including: pockets, AIO's, prefolds, fitteds, bamboo, cotton, OBV, hemp, PUL covers, etc...
Just don't overdo it; a little goes a long way especially if you have a front loader.

So even though there is fabric softener in it it's okay? I think I'm just over paranoid about ruining my CD.
I'm getting pocket diapers if that makes a difference.

On diaperjungle website Ecos has 3/4 stars but on another site it had a lower rating, so I'm unsure.

Thanks

I use it with no problems.

I use Ecos Free & Clear for all our laundry, including dipes (PFs & pockets). It's been great! It's listed on two sites I looked at as meeting all the criteria for being diaper-safe, but for some reason, one of the sites doesn't recommend it. Works well for me though.

I would give it a try. If you don't like it, Costco is really goodvabout returns so you could take it back next time you make a trip, even if it's months from now. If you're worried about the fabric softener, maybe try doing an extra rinse at the end?
