Spitting up while pooping?

Kind of a weird question, but wanted to see if anyone else's LOs do this...

It usually only happens in the morning, after DS (9.5 months) has had his first nursing session. He nurses from both sides, after not nursing all night, so I know his little belly is full. If he's the teeniest bit constipated and straining to poop, he'll spit up. Certainly not every day, maybe 1-2x/week? Is this weird?

My DS did that this morning! He's only 3 mo. and only on BM, so there's no constipation issues.

I don't think it's weird... just annoying to have stuff coming out of both ends at once that I have to clean up!

2 of my 3 have done this, especially #2 who was a reflux baby. He would spit up right before he pooped, just about every time. It was like a lttle warning signal, LOL. I asked my doctor once what the connection was and he just look at me a little strangely and said there was none. But, apparently, there just might be!

yup, mine has done it too!
