Looking for a History Website

I used to have this long list of free online books and one of them was older living history books, all scanned into the website. Does anyone know what I am talking about that could point me toward it?

Thanks,

Do you mean the British Library's Virtual Books? http://www.bl.uk/onlinegallery/virtualbooks/index.html

Or the Library of Congress's Digital Collection? http://www.loc.gov/library/libarch-digital.html

Both could keep you busy for a long time. The Library of Congress has a page for teachers here: http://www.loc.gov/teachers/

Thanks, but no. The one I am after was specifically for children. I will bookmark those ones though.
